Are You Involved With A Narcissist? (reblogged from missingpersonalert)
Do you frequently feel as if you exist to listen to or admire his or her special talents and sensitivities?
Do you frequently feel hurt or annoyed that you do not get your turn and, if you do, the interest and quality of attention is significantly less than the kind of attention you give?
Do you sense an intense degree of pride in this person or feel reluctant to offer your opinions when you know they will differ from his or hers?
Do you often feel that the quality of your whole interaction will depend upon the kind of mood he or she is in?
Do you feel controlled by this person?
Are you afraid of upsetting him or her for fear of being cut off or retaliated against?
Do you have difficulty saying no?
Are you exhausted from the kind of energy drain or worry that this relationship causes you?
Have you begun to feel lonely in the relationship?
Do you often wonder where you stand in the relationship?
Are you in constant doubt about what’s real?
Are you reluctant to let go of this relationship due to a strong sense of protectiveness?
Are you staying in the relationship because of your investment of time and energy?
Do you stay because you say to yourself the devil you know is better than the devil you don’t know?

Kavana.
A term from the Talmud, the book of religious Jewish law, technically defined as intention. In the Talmud, it says that one must pray with “Kavana”; with the ‘intention’ of finding meaning or spiritual connection. I take this word to an even greater extent. It represents a lifestyle that I seek to emulate; living with “Kavana”, with intention, meaning, and commitment to your everyday tasks.
Halloween ‘11
Saw this picture and remembered how I was also a mime for the past 2 Halloweens, and when some “douchebag” (yes, I believe that was the word that I have repeated over and over) said that I looked like I had been jizzed on by 3 different guys, I could no longer keep myself in the mime silence.

Collaborative Mixed Media of Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel that I made with some friends in high school. I did the bottom right corner of his beard :)
I wish everyone in the world was this appreciative.
